My kid NEVER puts this pink car down.. She has even begun sleeping with it! This quilt was made for her with pictures of her daddy on it so she can love on him even though he isn't here =) It couldn't have come at a better time since its been a week and a half since we've heard from that husband of mine.. I am so ready for him to be home! I don't even know what it will be like to talk to my husband on a daily basis!!! Oh em gee it excites me!

This poor baby is tired!!! She was such an emotional little basket case in the bathtub!! I wouldn't let her use her new bath crayons on the metal so she threw them in the water and then started poking me with a straw!! She isn't used to skipping her nap time to go shopping with mommy!!!

This shark gets more action from me then my husband!!! This little guy CONSTANTLY gets shoved in my face for more kisses!! Isn't he just so attractive?

My daughter has EXCELLENT taste in shoes =) These shoes are by far one of the greatest pairs of shoes I own! And really this is just 1 pair of about 10 pairs that are amazing!!! What can I say? I have great taste in shoes!

Adalynn getting into the box of pizza after her nap time! This kid takes after my dad 100% in the way that as long as its on pizza its edible!!! Take it off the pizza? well.. theres a CHANCE that she will eat it.. as in there is a chance that i'll win the lottery tomorrow =)

In case anyone wanted to see the intended purpose of the headband and what it looked like in "flower" mode instead of "loin cloth" mode =) The fact that her hair is FILLED with gel just makes it THAT much better!!

Adalynn just came running out of the bedroom wearing nothing but this flower headband that I bought for her last spring around Easter time!!! It looked like a little loin cloth lol!!!

This picture was taken after Adalynn brushed it down =( It was a rainy day at the house and I was super bored and my good friend had posted a picture of her child with a mohawk and I decided "why not?" =D I wish I had gotten a picture before the inevitable "help"!

SOMEONE learned how to get out of the bathtub.. She also hasn't been very nice after bathtime by running away as i'm trying to get her ready for bed.. [this picture is example A of her running away!] Apparently whatever was on tv was more important then bedtime!

This is where my daughter watched the football game from! It is her favorite spot.. to the left of the computer on the big speaker. The tv is ALL the way on the other side of the room but as long as she's next to the computer she is happy!!! Even when i'm not typing away she will still stand here waiting for her daddy to call on Skype.. Sorry kid, daddy is gonna be without internet for atleast 3 days.. its gonna be a long 3 days!

Would the child eat the rice off of her plate? Of course not!!! She had to come terrorize my plate and eat it! Earlier for lunch she had two grilled cheese sandwiches so I was scarfing down my new sandwich that I had to make and Jeff was giving me crap about it because I wasn't feeding it to Adalynn who was begging for more.. My apologizes dear child for not giving you a THIRD sandwich! Instead I tried to give her half my orange... I had one slice and ended up getting a second orange and she ate most of that one too!

We all have those amazing pictures from high school dances! Lucky for all of you i left my camera on all night and had a dead battery and just put it on the charger [yes this means *GASP* i went a FULL day without taking a picture of Adalynn!!!] This is my good friend "Lefty" or as most people call him Mike!

Adalynn was watching Veggie Tales for maybe 3 minutes.. just a little tidbit of information for you, the tv is in the opposite direction of where she was looking! But nontheless she's absolutely adorable =)

The jeans are pants that i can wear right now and they fit. The green snow pants are pants that i bought years ago that i never was able to fit into.. Thats my long term goal! To fit into those pair of pants!!! as you can tell i have a long way to go but i'm not stopping til i get there!!!

That is my dream too Mr. King! There is still so much hate in this world and I wish I could shelter my daughter from it but to ignore our past is to repeat it! I'm not worried about Adalynn being racist to people who are African American decendants! What I am worried about is the racism associated with people from the middle east. We are repeating EVERYTHING we've worked to resolve and that worries me.

This picture basically sums up exactly how I feel today. I'm such a downer but I can't help it! I miss my husband.. I REALLY miss my husband!! All I want is a hug and a kiss and a cuddle!!! It just seems like he will never be home at this point.. and i know i'm past the half way point so we are on the upside but for the past couple days I have really been yearning for my husband =(

She LOVES my cooking =) This pork was cooked very skillfully!!! I took a package of taco seasoning and some water and threw it in the slow cooker for 9 hours and voila! AMAZING! It was a hit with everyone!! I also made up a bowl of potato salad [my specialty!] and some fruit!! Everyone pigged out and really enjoyed themselves!! My grandma was glad that she now knew I could cook and felt better about leaving me up here all by myself! Apparently for the past couple years she's been worried that I haven't been eating well! I love that woman!

My grandparents drove up to visit me and Adalynn!!! Yes, its been barely 2 weeks since we left there place and they've already came to visit.. what can i say? They love this little girl and they love me =)

Apparently today was the official hat day and I missed the memo =) Adalynn NEVER wears a hat but has been very adament on wearing one today for some reason! I love it! Except while she was wearing this hat she ran into the wall and started crying.. ahhhh my little dysfunctional girl =) I happen to adore her!! In this picture she was clapping because we were excited!

This is the necklace "Jeff" got me for our anniversary! I absolutely adore it.. only problem? it doesn't fit my fat neck!!!!!!! I have been losing weight and I thought I had made enough progress but apparently I haven't.. But that's okay!!! I'm not gonna let this get me down just reaffirm my goals!!! It might not happen overnight but I'm determined that it will get better!!!

Her concentration while building blocks AMAZES me! She gets so frustrated at the fact that her towers don't hold together as well as mommy's do!! It's so endearing watching her get so frustrated that a piece doesn't fit right and then that look when she finally gets it.. PRICELESS!!! and the fact that she's wearing her owl hat.. well that's just the icing on the cake!

She fed herself yogurt with a spoon by herself this morning! I'm trying to let her use spoons and forks more often instead of her hands. She does absolutely horrible but thats okay because she's working on it =) One day at a time!!! And this cheesy grin? It is her go to face when she sees the camera =) my little ham ball =)

These 2 people are my world!!!! This picture was taken while Jeff was on his R&R for 2 weeks in October. I miss him more then I let people know but I HATE all the "sympathy" and all the great things people say like "ya it sucks that he missed your anniversary but it will make next years that much better" .. I want to slap all the people who say stuff like that.. let me take YOUR husband away for a year and let him miss all the important stuff and then let me tell you that NEXT YEAR will be better when all you want is him home now.. and then to add insult to injury go ahead and complain that he was 2 hours late coming home from work and how mad you were... really? ...

My daughter is wearing an apron. What this picture doesn't show you is that I also am wearing the same apron but in a grown up size! Adalynn was such a big help today with making salsa, fruit salad, enchiladas, and doing dishes! I can't wait for her to be able to do more in the kitchen! When I mention that mom's try to give me horror stories about there kids spilling flour everywhere or about there kids picking there nose while coughing into the mixture of whatever we are making. That doesn't discourage me in the least bit because I never had anyone to bake with growing up and I remember always wanting that type of experience and I want my daughter to look back and laugh at the fact that she went head first into a bowl of chocolate or that she came out of the kitchen covered from head to toe in gunk and flour! If she makes a mess? Then we'll just clean it up!!! There is a reason I own TONS of cleaning supplies.. its because I expect my daughter to be messy!

The reason this picture is so epic is the fact that Adalynn's hair is doing some crazy stuff!!! This picture was after I forced honey down her throat and after I took away her grapes. Which as I'm sure you can guess mean't that she just had 2 HUGE melt downs! (This was also taken seconds before being carried away to a much needed nap time!!!) The poor baby has a nasty cough that keeps her up for hours coughing anytime she lays down but she will just not take a spoonful of honey so mommy has to get a bit more forceful to help her! The lesser of 2 evils but an evil nontheless =(

My darling daughter was helping mommy make a delicious fruit salad! It has kiwi, mango, mandarian oranges, and strawberries. [the kiwi is under all the warm colored food] She was doing such a good job when it was just kiwi but then I added strawberries and those are her favorites so she started eating and then I added mandarian oranges and those are her second favorite and well.. it just went down hill from there =) I'm glad she enjoyed it though!! And i absolutely ADORE her chubby little squirrel cheeks from hoarding the fruit!

This kid is the cheese to my macaroni, the bacon to my eggs, the laces to my sneakers, the jelly to my peanut butter, the gravy to my mashed potatoes, the milk to my cookie, the ketchup to my french fries, the butter to my bread....

I think you get the impression! He may be older then me.. He may have called me names growing up (including but not limited to Lassie and Troll 2)... But he is and will always be the biggest influence in my life!!!

And ladies he is single last I talked to him =)
